Fast and Easy Christmas Wreath

This is a cute little wreath that I made because I couldn't find ours due to the move. All you need is something round to glue your fabric flowers to, I used rafia that was twisted around itself to make a wreath shape. To make the flowers, you take a strip of fabric and stich on one edge. You pull the thread tight and the fabric with gather on that on side. Then you curve it around and form it into and flower. Make a couple extra stitches so it looks the way you want it and secure with a knot or glue. I used Tacky Glue to glue them onto the wreath. The little reindeer is acually a clip with a magnet on the back. I just glued brown paper and pipe cleaners to make a reindeer and finished it with a little red pom-pom.

What is this thing called Christmas? Everything is bright and colorful. Everything smells good. And Everything tastes good!
While at my bro and sis-in-laws' house, Benny got to open an early Christmas present. He just didn't know what to think...until we got it open for him. He got Christmas weebles and a book. He loves playing and chewing on both.

Christmas 2010

Christmas I Spy

I made this I Spy toy. Benny is too little to enjoy it now but in a couple years he will. It was really easy to make. All you need are some little trinkets (Barbie accessories work really well), rice and a plastic ziplock bag. I had a bell, buttons in Christmas shapes like trees and candy canes, red and green buttons, a snowflake charm from a broken neclace, mitten and stocking shapes cut out of felt and some other miniature christmas misc. You just put everything in a plastic bag with about a cup or less of uncooked rice and zip it closed with just a little air left inside. Tape it closed if you want it to be more sturdy. I had a decorative candy bag with a window in it that I put it in but you don't have to do that.

Nine Months Old Today!

Bennington is 9 months old today. Here he is in his Christmas outfit from Grandma. He is so fun and happy. It's a joy chasing him around all day.
He looks like a little angel.

Loves playing with the presents.

He is so mischeivious and curious. Always exploring.

Early Present

Bennington got an early Christmas present from uncle Eric and aunt Tiffany. They have us in the exchange this year. I was going to save it until Christmas but he saw it and imediately started playing with it. It can be a walker or little scoot car. He doesn't know how to scoot by himself yet but he like when I push him. When we go fast, he squeels in delight. He is starting to use it as a walker but his balance isn't too great yet and he tries to go too fast and ends up crawling after it.
