Cute little Bennington
Randy went to check on Benny when he was napping the other day and he was so cute with his bum in the air he had to take a picture.

A tag blanket is a small piece of fabric that has ribbons sewn to the edges for your baby to play with. We recently made these at church and they are so fun, cheap, and fairly quick to make. A plain one took me about an hour and I am not even a very great sewer.
You need two pieces of fabric, identical shape and size. They should be about 1 foot by 1 foot. It doesn't have to be exact because you can make it as big or little as you want depending on what materials you have. You also need several ribbons with varying lengths, colors, and textures. I also used rick-rack and ball fringe. When you cut your ribbon, make sure it is cut to the length that you want it to be when it is folded in half.
Pin the ribbons to your first piece of fabric with the folded edge pointed inward. Lay the second piece of fabric on top facing in so it will be inside out when you sew it. Sew around the edges leaving a small space open so you can turn it right side out. After you turn it right side out, sew up the open space. I also like to sew around the edge again to make sure it is sturdy (a baby will be playing with this and you want it to be durable).
This one was made with scraps of fabric. It makes it more colorful and I got to get rid of the scraps that I had been saving.
I saw this cute peak-a-boo lion online and I loved it. It is made of felt. The lion wasn't hard to make, it just took more time.

Benny's first haircut
BeforeHis hair getting long and I thought it looked a little funny so we decided to try to cut his hair.
He was really curious about what I was putting on his head. This is before I turned it on.
He was actually a really good boy I just thought this was a classic picture. Randy held him in the bath tub while I used the clippers on him. I used the #3 attachment so it wouldn't get too short.

Washington/Seattle trip
We have officially moved to Bremerton Washington. We really like it here, there is so much to do. Randy got a job at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (pictured below). We have a cute little apartment in the northern part of Bremerton. It has three rooms which means that Bennington no longer has to share a room with the computer and I can use the computer without him trying to push all the buttons. We have really nice, helpful and welcoming people in our church here which is so awesome. It's fun to take the ferry to Seattle, it takes about and hour but it is super scenic. The following pictures are from our apartment hunting trip a few weeks ago.
The ferry is really cool, it goes from Bremerton to Seattle. You can bring your car on for $12 or you can ride on foot for free to Seattle but it costs $6 to come back. This is really beautiful country. Everything is so green, like where I grew up in Oregon, and there are so many cute little houses right by the water.
Bennington was so happy to be out of his carseat and that he got to drive the rental car. I do not suggest trying to drive in Seattle. Our GPS kept telling us to do something, then before we could do it, it would say "recalculating" and tell us to do something else.
This is the view of Seattle as we approach on the ferry.
Christmas 2010
Daphne got a Baby Alive for Christmas. It moves and giggles and coos. He didn't know what to think of that. He wanted to make it stop.
His cousins got a kitchen set for Christmas with a ton of fake food. He loved all the fake food, he played for hours by himself.
Grammy and Poppie got Bennington a Hal Moose for Christmas.
